Early in my career, I had the opportunity to be employed by one of the best-known national chains (Macy’s) as well as by the largest and most successful travel retailer (DFS Group Limited).  My professional growth at both firms was acknowledged with promotions to positions of greater responsibility and skill.
 
Since then, as a consultant, I have collaborated with design teams at Federated Stores, Charles Schwab, Mervyn’s, Ross Stores, Williams-Sonoma Inc., Restoration Hardware, Smith & Hawken, and Solstice (then a subsidiary of LVMH), to name but a few.

The scope of work taken on with each of these clients has varied in scale, ranging anywhere from a brief ‘walk-through” consultation or the development of a new fixture system to creating visual merchandising guidelines and signage hierarchies, or providing in-depth merchandise layout analysis and designing new brand-reinforcing display elements.

Among the skills I offer are shop design, fixture design, prop design, development of graphic and signage systems, development of written implementation guidelines and other field directives, drafting, sketching, rendering and model-building.  Additionally, I can manage any project from concept to completion.
