Solstice, a chain of sunglass boutiques, wanted to take a fresh look at its visual merchandising, graphics and signage systems. In collaboration with upper management and field representatives,
- I developed a signage hierarchy that allowed for easier brand recognition and delineation between lifestyle classifications while also creating dedicated zones for promotional and seasonal messages
- I designed and had manufactured visual elements such as fabric banners and transparencies that conveyed seasonal ambience while also offering a menu of brand names and further reinforcing distinct classifications within the stores;
- I compiled guidelines explaining the use and maintenance of various visual elements (risers, signholders, props and hardware) in an easily read and easily updated manual, for the store associates’ reference.
